IP law is so irreparably broken. People are going to these events to see your game specifically, it’s not like a movie; they are going to see the high-level actions of the players.

It makes perfect sense if you know about Bartle’s Taxonomy.
Basically, it’s the social theory that there 4 types of core identities for gamers.
1. Socializers
2. Explorers
3. Achievers
4. Killers
In all my years of gaming, I’ve never encountered a series that so adequately appeals to all of these groups and their many…
On one hand, six years really isn’t that long ago, and some of this seems like more than just a bad joke.
On the other, If I were held accountable at 36 years old for every stupid take or bad joke I’ve ever told, I wouldn’t even be able to get a job as a homeless guy flying a sign, so this is a complicated situation.
Peo…
i think it looks good.
I like the weird, stylish eating animation. Pokemon fans are the worst.
As far as I understand it, and from my time with the game so far:
Most pokemon will have a Tera type that is the same as one of their types, so it doesn’t change much.
However, pokemon captured from Tera Raid Battles (and the gift pikachu with flying type) can have Tera types that they usually wouldn’t.
When…
Yep. I knew right away they would launch with a horrible reward/progression system and then promise to fix it (conveniently after enough time that they snagged a few whales).
I had that same problem. This is a bizarrely constructed list. Granted, this is pretty complicated business, but maybe that’s why it should be in a chart and not a list format.
Edit: okay, now I see what the other commenter was saying. I see what you were going for here, but your language is completely out of sync with the terms used in game and by the community.
This wasn’t a well-constructed list. There are charts that do this complicated business pretty well.
I’ve seen this too many times to care anymore. It’s basically built into Live Service games at this point, and the pattern is down to a science.
1. Introduce a horrible system, snag a few whales.
2. Promise changes coming in the middle future to keep engagement up so the whales have fodder.
3. Implement the changes and…
I’m hours in and haven’t seen a single one of these issues.
I’m a few hours in without a single issue like this, and I have no idea what the difference is. But I haven’t seen a single one of these yet.
the Switch can run BOTW without issue. The problem isn’t the hardware.
you really just perfectly embodied exactly what I said hahaha. They do something and point the finger outward. I couldn’t have made a better comedic moment, thank you.
Try not to beat any souls games on your way across the parking lot!
I hate people that do this. Purely out of envy, granted, but still haha.
People are so damn impressive when they take things beyond even the next level, like this guy. It reminds of those crazy BOTW videos where they are just gaming in a whole different dimension than the rest of us.
guess you commented this before the update to the article...
“It saddens me that the media is often seeking to divide us...”
Good. I wish it was explicitly about more than a licensing deal gone awry, but it’s still a victory.
China seems to love western media, and we kowtow to their oppressive culture just for a few extra dollars. What we SHOULD be doing is exercising Soft Power and make things they want, but their government won’t let them…
