The endgame is inscrutable. I load it back up every few months, and have no idea what I’m actually meant to do to progress.

I don’t mind GAAS, I just don’t like when companies are entirely incapable of delivering it in a functional way. Avengers is a bad GAAS game.

SuMo was definitely a high point for Pokemon designs. Toucannon has become a low-key favorite pokemon of mine.

The one fail, in my opinion, was Litten/Torracat becoming Incineroar. I don’t like his design at all. The first two are great, then suddenly he’s a bipedal luchador.

This gen seems pretty bad, design-wise. I

I’m hoping that most people followed my trajectory: upset about it at first, then played the game and realized that it really had no effect on the game as a whole, and moved on.

You said the entire pokedex is out, but left out one important piece of information: How much of the National Dex is usable in SV? I was loudly against the exclusion of the National Dex in SwSh, but I really came to not give a shit. How much of a blowback from this same issue can we expect though?

Surprisingly, except

This dude needs to have his “Me Too” moment and disappear. He’s been circling the “Weird” drain for a minute now, time to flush.

Corporate dickswinging like this makes me irrationally mad. I’m not a violent person (yes you are) but my first instinct is to disembowel and defenestrate this scumbag.

I don’t know much about Japan, so I wasn’t aware that there’s a distinct difference between the two different 7/11's. I just assumed they were slightly cleaner than ours, but pretty similar in all other ways. Is there an American equivalent to their 7/11 that I could use to understand it better?

Yeah, paying to be an advertisement seems incredibly strange to me. I think it’s less about the utility of the skin than it is the perceived rarity. Gamers seem to be especially easy to trick with “limited time offers” and similar tactics.

I’ll never understand region exclusive promotions like this where it would do well worldwide, and the infrastructure to enable it already exists.

Pokemon is the worst about it, but I suppose part of that could be chalked up to it being a cultural THING in Japan, whereas here, it’s still largely viewed as a kid’s

(I’m no economist, so take this with the layman’s grain of salt...)

propaganda? I watch J6 happen, we all did. It’s not propaganda. You’re just hopelessly blinded by partisan rhetoric.

And if it doesn’t? Gonna attempt to overthrow democracy again?

It hasn’t though. They’ve just found a way to hide the true cost of games. If the price had stayed the same, you’d expect to see stagnant or even shrinking profits, but that hasn’t been the case. $60 is just the entry fee these days.

How can someone like shorts TOO MUCH?? They’re comfy and easy to wear!

Um, excuse me but...

WHEN TWO TRAINER’S EYES MEET, A BATTLE MUST BEGIN!

He’s also got strong Rob Zombie vibes.

Ah shit, really??? That sucks... I felt like he was sandbagged and lumped in with the Ryan shit, kinda hoped to see him return in some form one day. Oh well!

I said this on twitter already, but...

Am I the only who thinks that the B&W photo looks like Charles Manson and Leslie Van Houten?
