Honestly though, and this is controversial, even to myself... but fuck privacy on the internet.

I think the inherent disconnect between a person and their online identity is what allows the awful behavior all over the internet to thrive. If I could rewrite the entire internet, every single user would have a “photo ID”

Such a sad state when launch features get their own press releases.

Anybody I know that would have wanted to play co-op has finished the game, and nobody I’ve asked is interested in coming back.

I enjoyed the campaign and map, but I still feel like this was a badly handled launch, especially for a Flagship IP.

Unfortunately, links are broken as hell on kotaku, but the specific search term I used to find my results was “pokemon go price variation”.

This lead to an article here on Kotaku called “Why Pokémon GO Players Are Charged Different Prices For Lures” as well as a reddit thread filled with anecdotal evidence.

To see

One of my favorite Bill Hicks bits. That and Fundamentalist Trickster God, and Good Drug Story.

Why does anyone ever listen to these clout-chasing “leakers” who are just using an even shittier version of cold reading?

Seriously, I tried it once, to myself to prove a point with a Nintendo reveal. I had about a 50% accuracy rate of what was being announced with NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE.

Anybody who has an ear to the

Yeah, there was an article here on Kotaku called

Personally speaking, I decided to never spend another dollar on Go after discovering that they were using a price scaling system based on invasive data collection, like locations visited and type of phone you own, etc.

I used to occasionally buy a Community Day pass for a pokemon I really liked, or for bigger events.

Hahaha they JUST announced an NBA game of all things.

If I had to guess, they’re going to reuse the ball-throwing mechanic from Pokemon Go for shooting.

Can’t imagine how THIS will be the project that saves them...

Better headline:

“Booty Talks Out Ass”

I’ve been following State of Decay since it was called Class 3 (with the MMO codenamed Class 4) and as much as I’ve loved the games, it always felt like there was something missing. I wanted a game somewhere between SoD and DayZ, and this looks close.

I can’t find it anymore, but I remember back when Farmville first became A THING it was revealed that mobile game companies like Zynga and King literally employed addiction specialists to help design their systems.

Dammit, I just made this joke, and just had to scroll a little further down first...

Fuck it, MANIFEST DESTINY! This is and always has been MY joke!

Yo dawg, I hear you liked Gems. I awakened your gems so that you could gem your gems.

EA response was of course laughably bad and vague to the point of being meaningless.

What really confuses me is that they had their BEST INCOME during the pandemic. Why would they look at that information and say “we should fix this”? People were enjoying your game MORE with these changes. Niantic clearly isn’t a game developer, it’s a data farmer and broker.

I’ve always bounced off of this low-fi pixel game trend as well, so I didn’t expect much of it.

But when it came it to PC game pass, I tried it out, and I get it now.

The gameplay is fast, fluid, rewarding and varied. The progression system is always just another run away, and pulls you in. The clever combos of weapons

Gun to your head, do you play Ride or THPS5?

I’d probably choose the gun haha.

I wonder what he’s up to?

As time goes on, I become increasingly convinced that I’m the only person in the world who liked American Wasteland.

What an odd way to tank your own sales..
