Not really the fault of the Sprint agent. They are simply following a script and don't want to get off track.

Surprised you didn't mention Penultimate for 99 cents

When I read shit like this, it makes me wish I had another ISP option besides Comcast.

I'm minutes away from updating my iPad to iOS 4.2 and glad I read this. Otherwise, I would be joining the others wondering "where did my sound go?"

@Duffin: Exactly. Like yelling at a CS agent on the phone when your cell phone carrier made a global change to your selected plan isn't doing anything but telling the agent you are being an unprofessional dick.

@Robb Nunya: Raising a stink is still possible, just not berating the TSA agent doing to the touching to the point of making them feel 100% responsible for their physical actions.

This is one of those "don't shoot the messenger" things. Be nice, be polite as these people are just doing what they are told. Like shit running downhill.

@Frank_Jaeger: If the real terrorists are needing to use YouTube to get ideas, then they will get caught if we use smarter techniques to stop them before they reach an airport.

@George Terplan: Because there are smarter ways to find the real terrorists before they get to the airport. Yes, kids are used to further a plot, but this reactionary practice isn't the smart way to find the real evil doers.

Its posts like these that raise awareness. I don't have an issue with enhanced security or implementing efforts to ensure our safety when flying. I do take issue with what determines that people need to be randomly pulled out of line to use the AIT or be patted down vs. the majority of people getting to go through

A success? You mean people are so impatient that instead of waiting to rent, they just went out and bought the movie? There was that many Warner, Fox and Universal titles that were purchase worthy?

Jailbreaking has gotten easier and more robust. Unlocking, however, is still a bit iffy, depending on your baseband version. Which is my my 3GS is still at 4.0.1 (using a pre-paid AT&T SIM card).

I'm paying the $10 a month now, but would obviously welcome the 1/2 price cut.

@Tortz7: I did the same thing. Waiting for the Sean Kovacs GV Mobile app now to come into the app store.

@VoidingWarranties: I'm waiting for what you are wanting in a GV app, too. Out of excitement after reading this post, I spent $3 on this app. Not a big loss, but I should have read more about it first.

This is one of those double edged sword things. While the same interface is being used on the new Apple TV, I'm guessing that the older models wouldn't handle the increased needs of the new update, similar to the original iPhone not getting iOS4.

If Simplenote had a webOS client, I would embrace it more than I do Evernote.

Any of these counter protests are so clever. Love it. Maybe once the Westboro haters finally realize they are not getting the press they are craving anymore, they'll shrivel back to their locale and leave everyone alone.

I just bought this game based on two things: one, your mention here and two, it was only $1. Not being much of an iPad gamer (Yahtzee and Tetris are the only two I have on my iPad now), this game looks cool.

@FutureShock: Agreed. Nice to know I never registered for TPB and it's been over a year since the last time I used any of their torrents.
