I am glad they dumped the Olivia's cortexipowers thing. I mean the silly stuff she was doing in Season 4, not her ability to cross over. I know some fans want to see her become Wonder Woman, but that's not what this show is about. Any powers the characters get (including Peter) should be temporary.

Or is it? Maybe Olivia will become surrogate mom to the Inner Child. Which could be important.

The soundtracks for all seasons 1-4 are available as CD's from Varese Sarabande as well as on iTunes. They are very generous in length. Season 3 is the best IMO. Season 4 just came out. There is no excuse for not buying these.

Arggggh! Giacchino has nothing to do with Fringe any more! The music is all by the brilliant Chris Tilton who IMHO is way better at scoring emotional scenes than MG. I think MG is credited only for contractual reasons, based on his scoring of the pilot.

Sad to say, they are mostly crummy, except for the Beyond the Fringe ones written by Jackson, which are CANON according to Joel Wyman.

I liked the choppy fistfight; in order to display the Observerlike pace. If they hadn't done quick cuts, they would have had to speed up the camera which would have looked stupid.

Am I the only one who thought the scenes between Peter and the Observer in this episode were some of the most taut scenes on this show, like, ever?  I don't know who the guy was playing the Observer (his Canadian accent seems to give him away as a local Vancouverian, though), but he was awesomely good, and Joshua

I do not share the disdain for the amberverse that so many fans seem to. The amberverse gave us a more mature Walter. And an admirable Walternate. It gave us Lincoln Lee. It gave us a Bolivia and Walter slumber party. And peace between the universes. What's not to like?

Really? If so, that would make the lab a safer hangout, I guess.
