So far this season has a relaxed, shaggy-dog "Jackie Brown" feel. Perfectly happy to ride along. I hope we get to see a lot of Coon and Winstead together.

Is being a Daughter of Aku meant literally or figuratively, I wonder, Was Ashi's mother even human?

Great discussion. and Ashi is a great character - amazing how fast they developed her. I find myself worrying about her, more than about Jack. (Of course, she's dispensable in a way he might not be, not being the protagonist.) Sure she became more girly, but maintains her demonic energy, great vengeance and

Can't forgive him for Jack Kirby and being a fraud and huckster. Not a creator, just a check cashier.

Stream it. I use Amazon. The commercials breaks are jarring and not part of any act structure - and long. The video quality is superior to Dish Network.

Tragdor the Burninator - Elliott seems a little young to know about him.

I thought it was an excellent episode. This and the predecessor were much better than anything this show has pulled off. Wonder if Joss Whedon is more involved than hitherto.

Completely charming, especially Benoist, who is a ray of sunshine, Rachel Bloom is a genius. The Pasic and Paul tunes in La La Land were no better than the closing ballad, but I forgive the show - Barry is the star after all.

JJ was very good. Killgrave frighting Big Bad. Legion is in a different league however. Hannibal territory.

There used to be a blog called "Buffy Fashion Roulette," by "The Bitter Buffalo." Very good, but seems defunct.

The dear-head acid thing reminded me of "People of Earth." Also, maybe the "Nazi's have feelings" thing will help us with Trump.

You're right about the Flash. I was careless. Arrow is much better - we're dealing with human characters. AoS is poorly lit.

Just a note here: the whole DC lineup on CW has much better fight chirography than Agents of SHEILD. Reminiscent of the best of Buffy.

ditto. not only gets good, keeps getting better.

Also: "The Two Towers" and "Return of the King."

It is indeed her. Ursula Parker is really something else. http://imdb.to/1bH8KVa. As for her character, I'm sure she was just dehidrated!
