No, the title should be “Man quits job on principle”.

“His choice seems crazy to me. But I can sure respect someone being unwilling to be a middle-man in a grift.”

It would be great if you covered literally any part of the Isle of Man besides the deaths. This is the first time it’s been on since 2019, it has live video coverage for the first time ever, some rule changes have happened, John McGuinness is back, Davey Todd is actively chasing his first win, and people are gunning

What we don’t get to see, nor read any mention of, is the to.

Once Elon Musk slowly figures out that his worst enemies down the line, for a number of reasons, are actually Republicans, he’s really going to be in for it. But that would require paying attention to the world at large, not just Twitter. And, for what it’s worth, the current admin’s constant slighting of him remains

So...they’ve reinvented hydroelectric power to be more expensive and less efficient? Why not just pipe the water to the bottom where it would generate power then load it on trucks if you must deliver it to...place unspecified?

Totally naked.

Yeah, glad to see the voice of reason still exists for some. Congrats, you are doing what my Mom did forever, she also drove Hondas. She said “New and shiny wears off.” There is nothing wrong with being frugal or sensible. We enjoy it as it feels like a minor way to rebel against the idiocy of our wasteful culture.

Maybe because I am no longer young and quite that foolish? It occurred to me that buying cars that last forever (Honda) and then trading them in for another car payment when they were paid off was probably not all that smart (considering my new - everyone’s new - concerns about budget and the environment). How much

The correct answer. What is wrong with you? Why do you not have a new car/truck and a $750.00 a month payment plan for the next 6 years? Are you one of those “responsible, life based in reality” people? (good for you!) My big regret is when I bought our last “new” (2009) car used is that I should have bought the

IF I had the scratch I’d be all over this like a cheap suit. This will not surprise those who know I am a sucker for: rounded edges, kit cars, and a certain elegance.

Why in god's name would you think making customer service better would even be a goal here?

We bought ours new in 2019 for $28k. With the new battery pack we have 275 miles of actual range, which equals the base Model 3 - which costs $48k for a base model. 0-60 on the Bolt is a bit slower (6.5 sec vs. 5.8 sec), and the Bolt also has CarPlay, Android Auto and available Sirius XM, none of which are available

Probably not enough brass, bronze, and leather parts for that bunch.

Not a motorcycle guy but the Royal Enfield Meteor has plenty style for me. This is a bit too retro for me. Like a bike for the steampunk crowd.

Or keep sitting at their home office thumbing through the welcome aboard packet from their new employer.

Would like to seat 5 comfortably (we have three kids), but it will likely primarily be the wife’s commuter car.

Considering that petroleum fuelled vehicles are basically always on fire (there were over 200,000 car fires in the USA in 2018), the couple dozen Bolt fires are being blown WAY out of proportion.

The proper response to this is actually a Lexus RX350 hybrid. If you don’t care about driving dynamics -- as somebody who hasn’t driven in 9 years almost certainly doesn’t -- there’s no more comfortable car with plenty of space and every conceivable type of driver assist. I didn’t want to like my wife’s RX350, but

Exactly. Growing up, they were literally rusty old farm vehicles, and some were used by the RNLI (Lifeguards) and AA (like AAA) until they switched to more reliable Isuzu, Toyota pick-ups etc.
