Infantry will always have better visibility than tanks. Tanks are loud and infantry will always know where they are before the tanks know where the infantry is. No matter how much you stick your head out of the hatch. IR systems and modern optics and electronics might give tanks some advantages.

I think the T-14 Armata is super interesting design. It does sacrifice alot of things. Like Turret Armor. And a 4th crew member. Trying to make up for it with countermeasures.
