So this list was tailored by and for people who were in college in the early aughts? The exclusion of the “Cheers,” “WKRP” and “The Bob Newhart Show” episodes is mind-boggling. I can’t wait for the Christmas list that excludes “Christmas and the Hard-Luck Kid II.”

This list was rendered immediately invalid when they forgot to include The Bob Newhart Show’s “Over the River and Through the Woods”, hands-down one of the funniest half-hours in TV history.

What’s funny about Prince’s performance is that I’m 100 percent positive that in the years after it, Petty, Lynn, and Winwood—some of the greatest musicians in history—would regularly be asked “Oh man! What was it like to play with Prince?!”
I also LOVE Dhani Harrison’s absolute joy on his face watching Prince play.…

Prince throwing his guitar over his shoulder as he exits is such a magnificent physical full stop/ fuck you to the whole performance it should get him two places in the Hall. 

I miss him like he was someone I knew. But I like to think he’s up there in the cool, non-Christian heaven, takin’ ‘er easy for all us sinners.

This is terribly sad. He was just on an episode of The Trixie Motel, in a bit where he and Trixie Mattel tested out lifeguards for the motel pool, and it was, as he always was, hilarious and delightful.

Goddamn, his fall from grace has been a snowball down the alps. Going from creating some of the best hip-hop albums of the modern era to this. Those albums are full of lyrics and insights that are just...so counter to what dude’s become. What a fuckin’ disappointment. What a disgrace.
