Im gonna guess that this video didn't have a $150 million budget like Detective Pikachu did.

After cyberpunk I will never complain about a game being delayed ever again.

Alot of sports leagues have their own OTT streaming services (MLB, F1, NHL do for sure. I don’t follow NBA or soccer) the NFL is one of the few that has chosen not too, so far. But as the article points out, you will have to pry NFL games from the cold dead hands of network TV.

I can't say I have ever cared about these emails. *Shrugs*

Ummm.....no, that's not the same thing at all. Stealing is a binary issue a monopoly is not.

I'll be honest, I always just assumed it was spelled "Moyle" haha.

Sure, but you don't have to buy that digital only console (in fact it's way harder to buy than even a disc version right now) so that pretty irrelevant.

No, I get that. You can’t buy a download code anymore from a retailer. But if someone wanted to just set up their own digital store front, is there anything actually stopping them?

“You should definitely be able to buy digital games from somewhere other then Sony”

Defintley not a lawyer but this seems like a stretch. Almost everything on the PSN store can be easily purchased elsewhere, physically. If the PS5 had gone download only they might have a stronger argument but its hard to say they have a monopoly when you can easily buy the same game at a dozen (or more) different

Is it any more moronic than spending money on any other hobby?

When I say “crazy” I more meant stupid and unproductive than outlandish or difficult.

I question how thorough that list is. For example, Rainbow Six: Seige has like a dozen black characters in it. GTA V also had a black protagonist (Franklin) and games don't get any more AAA than that. That’s just two that immediately come to mind.

Many games allow you to get a free PS5 upgrade. So you can keep playing the game you love only it’s now much much better.

Funny enough, my experience was the exact opposite. I know 3 guys (and myself) who actually wanted and tried to buy one. We all got one within the first few weeks with minimal effort (refreshing the page a few times but that’s about it). I know another guy who actually scored a pre order.

Scalpers exist for sure but it seems like a pretty small % to be honest. You hear about these bigger groups scoring a couple thousand PS5, which sound like alot, but then you see Sony has sold almost 8 million. The vast majority are probably going to people who actually want them to play.

Disagree. Most games I already play are pretty significantly improved on my ps5 (Rainbow 6: Siege, No Man’s Sky to name a couple big ones). Playing new games like AC Valhalla was MUCH better on my PS5 as well. And with many games being given ps5 patches I have actually gone back and played PS4 games that I never

I have bad news, pillows have been ruined too.

Being a snob in anything takes so much effort. It's exhausting. I don't know how people do it.

Funny enough I watched Stowaway last night and there is an interesting, subtle sub plot inthe movie about how willing a private space company is to risk people’s lives to keep costs down and that when push comes to shove, the answer is almost always "humans are worth less than the mission”
