Well for starters, I doubt anyone actually does that. If you have a chromecast you are probably interacting with Google for something. You would have to almost deliberately avoid doing so.

Its actually pretty genius on googles part. Unless you think tens (hundreds?) of millions of homes in North America running your product (IE; chromecasts) is bad for business.
Wait....so its a subscription, but I also have to pay for some games (presumably the new games I actually want to play) ndividually? Yeah, no thanks.
Meh. There will still alot of benefits to owning a console. First party games (Something like The Last of Us II for example) probably are not showing up on stadia. Plus anyone with peripherals (racing setups, PSVR etc) is still going to want/need a console. And that’s without even getting into the issues of ownership…
Rainbow Six: Seige has done this for year’s without a ton of MTX. Sure they exist but they are entirely optional and purely cosmetic. And 99% of stuff can be bought with in game currency if you really want it. I have been playing it since beta and never once felt the need to spend real money.
There are already adapters people use to play m&k on console. Its a pretty big issue in RB6: Siege right now (and fortnite from what I hear but I don't play it myself). I don’t expect COD will be immune.
This is the first COD I have been interested in since......hell the one in Vietnam? I fear that RB6 has ruined all other FPS for me though.
Kojima can finally let out all his madness with no filter or supervision. Its beautiful and baffling and I want to play it.
Imagine a world where people can do multiple things. Like play video games AND go outside and have coffee with another person.
You know, as disappointing as the ending was I cant help but feel a bit of sympathy for D&D and the people making the show. It was always intended to be an adaptation GRRM just didn’t finish it. I think the last thing they wanted was to be in a position where they were creating huge swaths of original material to…
But the Vita was never marketed as being backwards compatible, was it? If anything that example kind of proves the point about digital media not really being an issue. The issue is physical media which is why one would think physical media is what they are referencing with “backwards compatible” claims.
What else would backwards compatible mean if not discs? Digital media is not generational really.
Ah yes. The old “you dont HAVE to show up, but if you don’t everyone will hate you and your boss will never ever forget it" strategy.
This whole “lets re-make things because it didnt live up to what we thought” trend has to be the single dumbest thing the internet has ever come up with. And thats really saying something.
So we are just gonna ignore the fact that the whole reason Dany has to invade westeros in the first place is because her family was violently deposed and essentially wiped out of existence by the very people she is burning out of kings landing?
Rewrite the history? Lol. The entire show starts because the Baratheons and Lannisters take kings landing and murder all the targaryen. That is literally the genesis for the entire show. Now you say she has “no reason” to burn the city and by extension the lannisters becsuse you got the warm fuzzies for her over the…
She didn’t care about “winning” because she already lost everything. Taking kings landing didnt mean anything to her anymore. she cared about punishment and vengeance.
Wait....”randomly” decides? Lol. Have you not been watching the show at all? There is a whole lot of justification (from her POV at least) for burning kings landing down. There is nothing random about it.
I watched the trailer and even though I will still watch the movie eventually it looks like a Chinese version of that awful 2012 movie. Which is to say I'm setting the bar pretty low.
Seriously though. Fuck you, Harley Jarvis.
