I swear there was like 35 people “working" at my local record store.

Yep. 11 days. And it belongs to.........wait for it.........Infinity War.

Consider yourself “pwned” Marvel.

Just when you thought Elon Musk was already the worst.......

Its kind of funny you remember Alien Ant Farm (sort of lol) but not New Found Glory who was a much bigger band, relatively speaking. Memories are weird.

I mean, scott did actually make essentially this exact movie. Only about tennis. And in 2009!

Do you really think the avg person was closely following the Jackson trial? Like to the point they were reading victim testimony etc? I doubt it. Most likely they know nothing about it other than it happened and he was found not guilty.

There is a pretty big difference between vaguely “knowing” something happened and watching the actuall victims explain what happened and how it ruined their lives for 2 hours.

I think the issue is that "enjoying their art" also supports them financially. And therein lies the problem.

Movies.

Same. I was born in 81 so I wasnt around/aware during his Thriller heyday but MJ was pretty much a non-entity for me an everyone I knew growing up. Nobody cares about him at all.

How this person was not fired instantly for being incredibly shitty at their job is beyond me.

Except they don’t use it to dismiss LEGITIMATE flaws. They use it to dismiss ridiculous “flaws” that only exist if you take a movie about space wizards way too seriously.

Except I 100% haven’t shared anything of theirs because I don’t use social media that way. I use it to follow things I’m interested in and don’t give a shit about influencers or sharing random memes. Which was my whole point.

Moneyball is only good if you never read the book and/or are unfamiliar with the source material. If you did/are then Moneyball: The Movie feels like a less funny remake of Major League.

Right back at ya, Pontiac.

I honestly had never heard of any of these people until like a week a ago because, generally speaking, I have a life. Being deep into Instagram is pretty fucking low on my priorities. I suspect most people feel the same.

Easily Armageddon. Without exaggeration I have probably seen it well over 1000 times. I can pretty much recite the whole movie.

Agreed. For most of Fyre its sort of painted as an ambitious idea that got out of hand. People The best intentions but they were in over their heads etc etc. But the bit at the end where Billy is committing just blatant fraud while out on bail is the crystalizing moment where you really go “oh, this guy is just a POS

Yeah I never really got the “I cant understand Bane” complaint. He is no harder to understand than any other character in the movie. Hell, he might be easier to understand than Michael Caine at points lol.
