When your immediate take on a situation is “she’s a liar; she leaked the tape” and not “holy shit he’s a violent drunken asshole,” that’s what I mean by giving him a pass.
We don’t actually know if she is lying. Someone at the courthouse could have leaked it just as easily. But, what gets me is the clear contempt you have for her in your comments while saying nothing about Depp’s behavior, which is far worse.
How does her possibly lying seem so much worse than watching him do violent…
On this very site, people were very loudly insisting that yelling and throwing things during a fight are not in any way abusive behavior. So, I can’t imagine what other sites comment sections are like.

I think this is true of any profession or passion that is creative and/or subjective: even if you are incredibly talented, you can’t do it all, and pretending that you can insults those who are also talented but focus on a different style/form than you. This goes for designers, hair stylists, musicians, chefs,…
The style was wack, but the moment was great for giving a real-time example of The Struggle. Half the time it’s ‘oh, yeah, we do Black hair’ based on that one time she cut a Puerto Rican man’s hair. The other half answers, ‘oh no, sorrr-eee. Did you try downtown? I think Kisha still works there’.
She continues to look better with age. It’s astounding. Even though she’s likely had work done, that can only go so far - she is a glowing Latina unicorn. Also she seems like hella fun to be around and I would absolutely hit da club with her.
