Hi all! Long time listener (been watching since S1), first time commenter. I’m a big fan of Trixie and Thorgy, and hope they go far.

I’m finding it difficult to ignore these sorts of articles and keep loving Star Wars. Can we please stop reporting on everything fans whine about as well as the response to that whining (even from the director)?

Here’s something much more important to consider: Who has time and the means to closely shave their chest hair in the middle of a zombie apocalypse?

It also looks like Archie Comics has quietly cancelled the Jughead and Josie and the Pussycats ongoing titles. It makes me super sad because Josie and the Pussycats was so good!

Me too! One of my favorite series of all time really. I <3 Roger

I second resurrecting Victor!

I’ll add that Ultimates 2 also features a team comprised of people of color (minus Carol) and it’s awesome :)

Sad Star-Lord ended, wanted to check it out in trades

Love this book! I was initially hesitant because I didn’t connect with Squirrel Girl but this was different in a great way (with no disrespect to Squirrel Girl).

Is Peggy Carter really that good? This is the 1st time I’ve considered it, given how much I agree with your top 3

This must not be an original thought, but wouldn’t have been far less distracting to make Tarkin a hologram? He could have delivered every scene that way and I wouldn’t have thought twice. There’s so much precedent.

Are any of the comics adapted and available in the U.S.? Would love a link!

A little confused -- will these ever be on sale to the public online? They look great!

Does anyone read Spider-Woman? It’s been my favorite book since Rodriguez joined (and enjoy a bit less with Veronica Fish now). It seems like a spiritual successor to Fraction’s approach to Hawkeye but largely goes unnoticed - it’s the only comic I’ve read that added a baby to the mix and still stayed interesting, if

I sent in Vultron! It’s probably copyright infringement but I couldn’t resist ‘V’ + ‘Ultron’

The whole Skippy the Droid story came from Star Wars Tales and was meant to be humorous - Star Wars Tales was frequently making fun of Star Wars, in a light-hearted, fun kind of way.

AH! This was above and beyond my favorite show as a kid.

I also gave up the show a few weeks ago for similar reasons, but the thing that ultimately drove me away was Betsy Ross’s makeup. There must’ve been a Sephora on every corner in the late 18th century! And a hair salon, to get frequent blow outs.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned yet, but they’re also potentially bad for your health. Heating up plastic will release chemicals in the coffee (i.e., bisphenols) that are linked to carcinogenesis and perhaps obesity. We’ve discussed this in my nutrition doctoral program with regard to the plastic tops on
