I watched “The Flash” last week - I thought it was pretty good. Solid B. The CGI during the time travel scenes was weird though.

Yeah, no shit. Tell that to Cereal Killer. I’m just showing that he did, in fact, have something to do with any of that.
“Gunn (who, in October, was named as the new co-CEO of DC Studios at Warner Bros. along with producer Peter Safran) told reporters on Tuesday, according to Deadline: ‘I will say here that Flash is probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.’”
Remember when Gunn, Safran, and Zazlav said they couldn’t release Batgirl because it would damage the DC brand, then spent months hyping up The Flash of all movies as “one of the greatest comic book movies of all time,” only for it to do terribly and get torn to shreds? Fun times.
The really odd thing is that he considers this “medicine” for the people being blocked? Like...he thinks it’s hypocritical for them to *be* blocked? I don’t even get his train of thought there. The train is going the exact opposite of the way it should be going.
I have said the same thing for YEARS. It’s not like when I was young and you had to wait a year, maybe more, for a home release, this SUPER short theater to home release pipeline has to hurt the BO. Not a lot of reason to go see it on the big screen, which does have it’s advantages, when you can wait a couple months…
And yet its still keeping up in sales numbers with the current gen, when its not beating them. While I agree Nintendo leave a lot of money on the table, I don’t think making TONS of money is a problem for them. They’re still making it hand over fist despite people who are very online complaining about its specs.
This is hilariously off the mark.
It plays a huge part. That’s why the big theater chains are so vocally opposed to movie studios shrinking their theatrical windows.
Barbie aside since it obviously made a ton of money, but this trend is one my theories as to why movie box offices are down. There’s little reason to go to a theater to see a movie when you can just wait a few weeks and watch it at home. Home entertainment equipment is good enough nowadays that its just not worth it…
This is an article, not a video. They don’t have to pull it down - they just edited it and posted the correction. Like he showed they did. What’s with all these idiots and their “gotcha” comments?
LMG is multiple channels and they release 25 videos a week on average. Maybe slow down before trying to pounce on someone else with a big ‘GOTCHA!’; you just look foolish and uninformed.
So, according to LMG themselves, they make:
Linus Media Group isn’t just the Linus Tech Tips channel, it also runs the ShortCircuit, TechQuickie, TechLinked, GameLinked, and LMG Clips channels (plus a few more that don’t upload regularly), as well as the WAN Show podcast. Between all those channels, they’ve uploaded 33 videos in just the past week, and that’s…
I think it’s because Linus Media Group owns 5 different channels and they each put out about 3 videos a week.
They literally do. LMG has a bunch of channels, not just LTT.
They absolutely do. LMG is more than just LTT. They have a ton of channels at this point, and across them all (all done by the same staff), that is an accurate tally.
Across all of their channels, they total a weekly average of like 25 videos a week
AVClub is the only reason I even know about this show. ‘Fetch’ will happen before this show happens.
stop trying to make this show happen, it’s not going to happen
