Cloud Atlas was better than either of the Matrix sequels, so it's not a straight trajectory.

Is bring Lemony Snicket really selling out though? A Series of Unfortunate events is seriously oddball and delightful children's work; it just is also extremely popular for some reason.

"The Best Christmas Story Never Told" is an early standout, and pretty Roger light as he's relegated to the B story. "Escape from Pearl Bailey" has no Roger, from what I recall.

touche, I didn't remember that he reads those too. The "so many memories" line is a good capper.

I thought the gag in that picture was the Activities, Sports, and Honors all being NONE.

I'm thinking prequel. The original hints at his backstory, and an "impossible task" he pulled off. That way they can bring nearly everyone back.

Yeah, it was a vet operating center inside a pound, and the dog's cage had a put down notice on it. You need it see it in a theater or a big TV in order to read the notice though.

In which direction from outside Tucson? He would've had to add a sign to every road headed into Tucson, and that's ignoring the possibility of the person not even taking a road in.

I'm thinking he stayed in Tuscon because he started painting those "Alive in Tuscon" signs before it had fully sunk in how alone he was, and then he ended up painting the same sign all around the US as he traveled, so then he was afraid of moving since if there WAS somebody out there, they would travel to Tuscon, but
