I don't think you understand what deus ex machina is. It refers to a plot point or character appearing out of the blue. It doesn't matter whether you liked the plot device; Hannibal's super sense of smell has been established on the show already, so him smelling Freddy on Will was not deus ex machina.
And Santorum wasn't even correct, since I believe what Obama said was he he wants everyone to get secondary/additional education past high school, including vocational training or apprenticeships.
The original car he crashed was stolen, I'm thinking that the Taurus will turn out to be Lester's, and he straight up stole the station wagon. I think it's just a sign that he doesn't play by the "rules."

A problem is that Rosa didn't consistently shoot him down. In the pilot, Boyle asks her to a film festival, and she agrees. She only later cancels the date when he messes up picking out the movies to see; but then she says that she likes spending time with him, which leaves the door open.
To be fair, on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Charlie's behavior has been portrayed as pretty much straight-up stalking for years now. They're mining humor out of how fucked-up his behavior is, not trying to normalize or excuse it.

There's vegan ice cream places in NYC. They typically use soy, cashews or coconut as a base. I prefer cashew based ones; the result is still creamy, so I'm ok with them still calling it "ice cream" instead of "frozen cashew butter".
Fearless is coming out on Blu-ray soon on Warner Archive Collection. It won't be available in stores, only on their site.

"Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" had the same plot as a very-much-used Dr Who script, "City of Death", which Douglas Adams did an uncredited rewrite of, as haysoos pointed out However, Adams also re-used a character from the unfinished Dr Who series "Shada" in the book, namely Dr. Chronotis.
