If BMW wants to create the ultimate M, it should be something bespoke, like the original M1. It needs to be something epic, that can't be found anywhere else in company's lineup.

I'm black.

No proposed hyperloop which is most definitely going to have some parts run underground? I am disappointed.

Please crosspost to Jez, please crosspost to Jez, please crosspost to Jez.

Maybe not the worst, but one of the funniest

I wouldn't want to be you if this were to be cross posted to Jezebel.

The difference with the new Mustang is that those costs aren't going to be an appreciable factor any more. Unlike the last generation, this car was intended from the offset to be sold in Europe, so the process of importing and registering them across the pond will be incredibly easy and cheap compared to privately

Frankly, considering how the GS350 F-Sport drives better than the 535i M Sport, I wouldn't be surprised if a GS-F drove better than the current M5, which doesn't have anywhere near as much steering feel as the E60 did.

Here's hoping Nissan has another thought "out of the clear blue sky" that maybe they should license the concept from Panoz.

Audi makes extremely competent, yet dull cars, with little appreciable variation between segments. Their success in the past decade can be attributed to two factors: 1) a beautiful aesthetic complete with a corporate grille, and 2) some left-field engine choices to make their cars stand out from the existing luxury

Doing it wrong: VW

I'm most thankful for the Porsche Cayenne. Without it, and the boatloads of margin it provides, we probably wouldn't have the awesome 911's, Boxsters, and Caymans we have today.

Annoyingly, the first two paragraphs describe my parents perfectly. We're replacing my mom's Prius with a CT200h next week.

It's BMW, so the engine is underrated. Their horsepower numbers typically indicate the wheel horsepower, so this car's engine is making closer to 380-390 hp.

In spite of all this, Kogai didn't explicitly say that the rotary is dead. He just said it's not viable at the moment, and implored people to "please allow us to continue our research" into how to make the Wankel work.
