Does anyone actually like these?

Rule #1 about architectural design: Never design a room around a piece of furniture, especially TVs. It looks tacky and you’ll NEVER find a replacement TV that fits just right. You can’t “hide” a TV, so don’t force it. It’s a focal element and should be treated as such.

So does a flatscreen mounted to the wall of your Living Room look like a cheap afterthought?

Integrated screens look outdated and are ergonomically inferior. Not a good look.

I’m fine with having a police presence to deter racing in public areas, just so long as the default response isn’t to lock everyone up. Start with a warning, then a fine, and finally jail time (or an impound) for the third offense (and obviously make exceptions for egregious violations).

You mean an expensive AF racetrack that’s a 3+ hour drive away from civilization, and requires a prior tech inspection and installation of race temp fluids/pads, and requires you to buy a hotel room for 2 nights and show up for a 7:00am driver’s meeting, just so you can get 90 collective minutes of racing per day?

This is an objectively bad take.

Good.

Why? I’ve owned an E46. Forget the $3900 purchase price. It will cost $3900 every year in maintenance alone...if you’re lucky. And for what? A slow, cramped wagon, in a boring color, with fake leather and a slushbox?

I’m all for the “take it to the track” mindset (I do so myself), but actually, yes, they do post those numbers just for funsies.

Huh? My family owns an Audi Etron, not a Tesla.

No, crazy or not, he’s definitely a genius

Carrying guns in public isn’t even normal in large parts of America. I’ve lived here my whole life (28 years) and have only once seen a civilian nonchalantly carrying a gun (coincidentally enough, it was at a rural Subway sandwich shop in PA!)

I suspect you’re probably right that they’re depreciating a bit more than they used to. Back in the 2000's, a special edition Ferrari was unheard of, and the 360 CS was a crazy unicorn. Now, it’s just a given that all MR V8 Ferrari’s will get a “track version,” so they’re less special.

Not to mention McLaren reliability is...well...authentically British.

And it’s not just the cheaper ones. The P1 and Senna have started selling for alarmingly low auction prices (well under $1M). McLaren just pumps out too many new models.

Not too surprising. Ferrari carefully controls production and availability to preserve resale value. A new Ferrari is a relatively safe investment.

Trump won because of the Electoral College, not because of Stein, or disenfranchisement. Quite simply, he just got more votes in the key states.

I just conducted several polls about this on my IG story. So far, the only pre-Bangle design to beat its successor is the E38. Here’s the breakdown so far:

By what metric is $35K not affordable?
