Also @150k expect a new transmission.  That's $6,000.   Keep that in mind.

Nissan Murano convertible.... case closed

Please don’t make me explain why the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet needs to be at the top, or near the top of this list.

I’d call this a risky bet. On the one hand a used Model 3 is good way to get a decent performing EV on the Tesla charger network. On the other hand it’s Hertz so there’s a very real possibility of being pulled over and held at gunpoint because they reported the car stolen.

I, for one, cross-shopped a Model 3 Performance vs an M2 a few years back. So there’s that.

Recommending a 80K mile ex-rental as a responsible purchase has to be one of the stupidest hot takes I’ve seen here in years.

Murdering your potential customers is an ineffective sales technique. Even my local KIA dealer stopped doing that.

Plastidipped stock wheels, rain visors, M-colored grille, insecure-guy fake M badging and “M” steering cover from Temu.

This! I remember when Infiniti finally got on a roll in the early aughts with an awesome lineup of desirable cars - the G35, which forced BMW to step up its game with the e90 3 series, the FX35/45, one of the few sporty SUVs that could run toe-to-toe with the Cayenne for a fraction of the price, and the gangster M45,

Infiniti.

For half that, I’d buy it and Coyote swap it. It would be a sleeper. In more ways than one.

This has Uncle Rico with a dash of serial killer vibes.

But naked women with guns?

The correct answer is to never give your money to a juvenile Nazi shitlord or his companies.

Any Malaise Era “performance” car. They were all stripes and decals with V8s churning out less than 200 horsepower in many cases.
