Exactly. Your plan is build through the draft and you’ve set up such a cancerous environment that unless you draft the next Shaq or LeBron, the young players are as likely as not to fail to develop.

But drafting a great player is a way to turn things around quickly. Not the only way, but that’d work.

It’s still just the regular season. All the problems you mention are legit and should be on their radar, but LeBron, especially, is just pacing himself.

I have to say that after watching the astonishing bullshit pulled by the state in that case (have they ever explained why the evidence box was opened and there was a puncture mark on the blood vial?), it is amazing that everyone is running around parroting the bullshit “missing” evidence from the vile prosecutor.

Even if they want Kobe, himself, in there at the end, that leaves plenty of space for the young players. It’s Kobe + Lou Williams + Bass + Nick Young + Hibbert...etc. that causes the problem.

A little distance from this time period will do wonders for his legacy. There are things he’s done that I haven’t agreed with, some real blunders where the shittiest Congresses in human history can’t be blamed- the mortgage situation, for example - but overall, he’s done an amazing job given the circumstances.

The “All Lives Matter” people are not good white people. Either they are assholes or ignorant/stupid. In either case they aren’t good, though there is a chance that the latter category could become good, or at least decent, via education.
