Has anyone been upset more times as a number 1 seed in NFL history?

I read that he was upset at the prospect of rebuilding. After missing out on DeAndre, there was a lot of discussion that they may just go into tank mode. It wouldn’t make sense to sign Carlisle and tank because he would do everything he could to win games.
Several good 3rd party Omegas, at least one decent Scorponok. I haven’t seen a good Trypticon. There’s my vote.
Hope so.
Sure, but that will change their regular season dominance. A lot of the data is supporting the Pop approach - rest players - and making the Thibs balls-to-the wall approach look somewhat short-sighted.
The only real concern at this point is if they’re setting themselves up for burnout later on, but watching the games, Curry doesn’t really ever look like he’s got his foot to the floor.
I agree with you about journalism, in general. There’s way too much friendship between the press and their subjects (especially in politics and sports), but I’m jut not sure you can justify releasing early pictures of a game by referring to the legacy of muck-racking truth-tellers.
My “please don’t get injured in a way that derails a promising young career” list extends to Wiggins and Towns (although, Towns has that look about him that even an ACL tear will just delay him for a while). The Orlando dudes, and, most of all, Porzingis.
Honestly, the worst was her fawning, vapid, non-confrontational interview with the prosecutor. Jay’s a mess, but it’s pretty clear every action he’s taken, every story he’s told, was done because they threatened him with the death penalty and he was terrified.
Not totally accurate. AT&T included that information on the cover sheet of every document they sent the prosecution. The prosecution neither turned those cover sheets over to the defense nor did they give those cover sheets to their cell data expert.
First, I’m not sure I agree with the decision by the Patent Court. The NFL, fans, and all manner of private groups should pressure the Washington team, and the Washington team should have the decency to change the name. I’m as left as you can get and I don’t like the government being the decision maker in this case.
That’s not really the point. Defenses can be more sophisticated and the rules can still benefit one player more than another.
So, those aren’t good plays until February?
Please. I like things about Deadspin, their ability to report, the glee they take in humiliating athletes for irrelevant indiscretions being among the things I hate. I like Grantland, their silly “This team is like this tv show” and Simmons’ righteous crusade to make dick jokes and lazily bash the Goddell (though he…
Sure, misstated that. Deadspin uncritically reporting the claims of a single source is pretty shitty reporting. Judy Miller uncritically reporting the chit dribbling out of Chalabi’s mouth is roundly mocked around here (obviously stakes are higher).
One source says that he specifically told him; Deadspin leapt to the conclusion that it was for the sole purpose of harming Grantland. There are many other reasons to keep something like that confidential, both from the hirer and the hirees’ perspective. It’s pretty common practice.
According to one anonymous staffer. On the other hand, you have the fact that (1) those editors were eager to go work for Simmons again and (2) just about every member of Grantland has spent the last day thanking Simmons and talking about what a great place it was to work.
I read that and it made little sense. Is Simmons daddy? The majority of her tweets since then have been about how great Grantland was. I mean, Simmons hired her, I’m not connecting the dots here.
AND WHY IS THERE NO WHITE ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION AM I RIGHT OR AM I RIGHT?!?!?!
