I agree with everything here, but the character of Frasier is constantly learning from those around him; he is not a basic elitist. He bites off more than he can chew, and can be oblivious to his own snobbery where he mouths off to anyone without thinking, but his appeal is his desire to learn, and analyze himself,

It’s easy to see why he’s lasted this long and why the show is coming back. He’s a funny actor. He’s got a great, commanding voice. He was the perfect casting for Beast in X-Men 3. Plus his cameos on 30 Rock were some of the best that series had. And that’s saying a lot for a show that uses cameos better than pretty

Between “The Innkeepers” and “Nightmare Inn,” Frasier managed to pull off two of the most perfect sitcom episodes ever made.

You don’t become a character who gets continually broadcast for twenty years by being the weakest thing of the shows you’re in.

“Look out, he’s got a nug!”

Because the fact is that, even if Frasier himself is rarely its best part (something that doesn’t bode all that well for a reboot where he’s the only returning main character, by the by), Frasier remains a shockingly good example of the sitcom form.

Of course, they’re going to say they’re working on Frozen 3. The Mouse needs a new animated hit!

I don’t know if shows only lasting a few seasons is a bad thing. A show that runs forever is a soap opera and while a lot of the criticism of those is rooted in misogyny some of it is for the fact that the open ended nature of the format makes it impossible to ever satisfactorily conclude a character arc or even show

Jesus, they reworked Frozen 2 and it was still that bad when they released it? I can’t imagine what a hot mess it was before they “fixed” it, because the finished product is terrible.

Frasier” without Niles is...definitely not the same. I assume they moved this to Boston to 1. Explain away the absence of Niles and Daphne and 2. Leave the door open for any Cheers cast members to make guest appearances. But I don’t know if that was a good idea. Better to put the character in a completely different

Frozen 3: Elsa Fights A Fire Guy Who Is Probably Her Lost Uncle CONFIRMED!

Burrows, at least, is doing his part by directing the first two episodes of the upcoming Frasier reboot, even though he “had nothing to do with the writing of the pilot” and “was just handed a script.”

It also sounds like he’d be happy to host, but Comedy Central seems to have wanted it to be Minhaj. Likely the only reason that hasn’t been announced is because of the recent lying and toxicity allegations leading to second guessing that one. I’m sure Wood is partly of the mindset of put up or shut up when it comes to

Ah yes it’s just merit that put a bunch of white dudes in the top late night comedy shows

Because surely there’s no merit in having a unique voice and perspective developed by existing as a minority in this country. Surely diversity of thought and experience isn’t important. Surely racial and ethnic diversity has no merit in terms of attracting a bigger and different audience who find that perspective

Wood says he doesn’t ‘believe diversity to be the paramount priority [anymore].’

Eh, likely more the case that for the execs, diversity not being the paramount priority just means not bothering to look any farther than the most convenient pool of homogenous-looking folks.

From Wood’s perspective I’m sure it’s a bummer - Daily Show is great exposure and money, and I think he’d be pretty good at it. But he’s really talented and has a unique voice and I think he'd be hemmed in by the show. As a fan I think it'll be more fun to see what he does on his own, and I think he'll probably be
