I had seen a bunch of billboards and video ads on mute for Strays, and I had absolutely zero idea that it was for adults. I totally assumed it was ‘Homeward Bound’ for the new millennium.

I am going to predict 90% of the alleged jokes in this movie:

This was probably the last weekend that Elemental and Indiana Jones are going to be in the theaters. I figure they will be available to rent and buy digitally in the next two to three weeks.

Yeah, it’s going to be a while before another movie has a $50m opening weekend. Next weekend Blue Beetle opens, but I have a feeling that it will be lucky to bring in $30m based on presales.  Since the studios moved so many release dates, it gets really thin after that.

Nah, Hollywood is nothing if not efficient at copying success. Next year will see a flood of MAGA-friendly movies ending with an impassioned plea to buy more tickets now or the evil commie pedos will win.

Boy am I getting some real last hurrah vibes from the box office lately.  I suspect its gonna be pretty slow for a while after Barbenheimer finally comes to an end. 

Those are more “panel shows” -- that is, they are in the form of a game show but really the game is meaningless but just a framework for the panelists to tell jokes in. This sounds like it is an actual game show, with nobodies as the contestants and the game really being the draw.

But when are we getting an American version of Numberwang?

Naming their channel GAF seems a little on the nose.

Being on a sitcom ruined things for her like it did for many young sitcom actors. They’re prompted to act much more broadly than they would in anything else, and unfortunately it becomes second nature over time. They have to be aware of it and work extremely hard to break the habits they formed.

The British version will have a few differences from the original version. Instead of starting all responses with “What is”, you just say the answer followed by “innit?” Failure to do this will result in disqualification.
