By that logic Zack Snyder is the greatest filmmaker to have ever been born.

“When you have extraordinary success, you come back within the next three years,” he added. “That’s just how the industry works. You come back to the well, and you build that cultural impact over time. Marvel had maybe 26 movies to build out a universe, with the characters cross-pollinating. So it’s an irrelevant

Wonder what Tarantino & Scorsese think about that?

Eh, Netflix says a lot of things.

I don’t hate that I watched it. It’s short enough and not horrible.

I’ve seen a thousand people say the same thing, that Martinet’s Mario couldn’t carry a movie. But like... the dude’s a real voice actor. He’s also a human man who can speak in full sentences when the situation calls for it. I have no doubt he could hit the happy medium voice for a Mario who’s believably from the real

Solid Snake tells Mario about the “Smash Brother initiative”

The sexy one, duh!

It’s weird that every scene we’ve seen with Mario so far involves him fucking up somehow. If Mario is the klutzy one then what’s Luigi gonna do?

This doesn’t look so bad.

This looks fun, I love that Mario’s training involves running a Kaizo Mario-style course. I am kinda creeped out by the overall look - the designs are very, very close to the source material but not quite, but that’s more because the image of Mario and the rest is pretty much burned down into my head to an extent that

I wonder why they decided to adapt New Super Mario Bros. instead of the original.

It looks, you know, fine, but if it doesn’t end with a post credits scene of Link and Samus Aran falling out of portals in front of a giant white hand, I’m out.

Oh great, get ready for round two of “Wahhhh! Chris Pratt doesn’t sound like MY Mario!!! This is gonna flop because me and all my thirty year old childless friends are NOT going to see this!!!”

That was the 80s Show, with future Sunny star Glenn Howerton!

Fuller House ran for 5 seasons, to be fair. I’m still waiting on Step By Step By Step, myself.

Two seasons, and the second season will end with a cliffhanger.
THEN they cancel it.

Finally, a sequel show that makes sense. Netflix will give it a season before ruthlessly canceling it. At least we’ll have that, I guess.

Red Forman is my favorite TV dad. Putting his foot in the ass of stupid teen behavior across three decades, now.

Um, didn’t they already try a 90's show?  Or was that the 80s?  Either way, it lasted like 3 eps before cancellation...
