I watched The Menu and She Said this weekend and I really enjoyed both and would recommend them. I’m planning to see Black Panther but I will probably wait another week so I can go to a showing that isn’t full of people.

Spotted one in the first screengrab, even. Note the air conditioners in the window’s reflection. What else casts a reflection? Not vampires! Which Disney movie is record-shatteringly famous for its lack of vampires? You guessed it... 101 Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure!

Not to be one of those well actually people but... you mentioned Judy Kuhn and Jodi Bensons cameo, but you forgot the other big one.  The soap opera James Marsden is watching in the hotel?  The star is Paige O'Hara, voice of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and a dear friend of mine.  Honestly far as easter egg cameos

This premise seems like it was really stretched to include both Harrison Ford and Nazis. I get the why for both, since the only unanimously loved Indy films are the ones where the Nazis are the bad guys and the supernatural McGuffin is a Christian artifact (maybe this time the Nazis are after the Lance of Longinus on

I think it’ll be…fine.

There’s always a chance, but long after continuations/revivals are always tilted towards being utter shite.

So, you’re saying there’s a chance?

“It’s not just that they’re looking for something where there’s nothing up there . . .”

Now playing

I could have sworn I’d already seen that film ...

The problem is that for every ten Disenchanteds, you get a Mad Max Fury Road or Top Gun: Maverick.

Neve count your chickens before they're hatched.

Yeah! And gay actors shouldn’t play straight people.

She’s clairvoyant, but she couldn’t see it wouldn’t work with the husband?

I get the desire for more gay characters (I’m a gay 28 year old whose favorite show growing up was That’s So Raven) - Raven Baxter is crazy for boys, always has been - its basically a hallmark of her character in the original show. It just wouldn’t make sense for her to suddenly be anything but boy crazy. I felt

This movie sums up ‘Disney Adults’.

lol it's so very on brand for Disney to shoot themselves in the foot by passing up merchandising opportunities to avoid having to pay someone

On a much smaller scale, many years ago, my theatre company managed to function for an entire season with an unsupported server and ticket sales software. (The software company had gone out of business, and we were in bureaucratic nightmare of transitioning to new software.) As long as nothing catastrophic goes wrong,

oh i get it D+ for Disney+

Intentional by Disney, there was going to be a big merch roll out and Giselle was supposed to be an “official” Disney Princess but once Disney found out they would need to pay Amy Adams lifelong royalties for her likeness merch for Enchanted was severely scaled back, any Giselle merch that was made was using her

I look at this D+ and think to myself “People really think they want a Freaky Friday sequel from Disney....”.
