The show didn’t end because of the lawsuit; the creative team felt it was their time to end it.
This is literally the first I’m hearing about this happening.
That is a thought I had when first watching it. Do real teachers find this show funny or a sad reminder of the reality of the school system?
Lake Bell as Ivy is good when she just has to be sardonic, but the last two episodes where it necessitated she actually, like, emote, she really fell flat IMO.
Yeah, something about the season was off for me too. I can’t quite place what though.
I think my issue with streaming shows like this is that with no commercial breaks, there’s no “act” breaks. This feels the most like a TV show than all the other MCU shows so far, but it also at times feels like a stream of stuff rather than a definable story.
Pete’s Dragon is really a live action movie with an animated component, not a remake of an animated movie.
I’m tired of one word movie titles.
So, Flounder now looks like an actual fish.
Never heard of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playbook. Any relation to Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist?

It felt so weird having normal Colin around again after a season of baby Colin. And I still can’t wrap my head around the whole secret records room thing.
Yeah, that’s my thought. My bet is Derek is gonna bit him and then immediately burn up or something.
It was a local theater, so no assigned seating. There were plenty of empty seats and there was literally me and one other person in there at the start. And then the dad and child chose of all places to be right behind somebody else. Wild.
I think these days, I want to have more people just as a sign that local theaters can still stay afloat, post-covid. I’m usually in a crowd of like five-ish people usually (on the discount ticket nights); and I’ve been the only person in a couple of films. An opening weekend matinee of Spider-Man is the most people…
Saw it yesterday and it was nearly packed.
I saw an early showing of it on Saturday, around 11am. Of the 14-ish people in the theater, there was one white dude (me) and the rest were black women, most older. Take that as you may.
