You call that Anapestic tetrameter?

Also airing: Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary Special (!!!) on Saturday, 7pm on HBO (then on PBS on the 17th).

Things finally feel exciting again in a way they kinda haven’t been for a bit (like, this clifhanger is way more investing than “who the cloak dude on the train tracks?”)

That’s like saying any movie is ripping off the way the Grim Reaper looks.

Huh, whaddya know, it is in the original.

Yeah, that one is a bit much. But the utter contempt in his voice when he says “sissy-mearies” sells that one.

I’m too lazy to scroll up to see the voice of Moana’s name, but there was a point where she just went totally atonal for some reason (the big “Part of Your World” / splash of water behind her on the rock thing).

When I first heard this was announced, I assumed it would be a psuedo-movie reboot thing, like that Fame TV show - same universe as the movie with new actors as the characters/approximations of the original ones.

Here’s hoping it lasts longer than Seeso.

Honest to goodness, the Ant-Man movies are my favorite in the MCU, so this is good new to me!

“Why’d you try to kill yourself, you stupid idiot?” cracked me up so much for some reason.

I’ll say this: I may not like the animation on Bojack, but the way they employ creative visuals should be recognized.

By “Simpsons”, you mean the Flintstones car, right?

This one was fine, not stellar, but still enjoyable. I especially loved Chidi’s enthusiasm for finding clues.

The whole “implication” scene works because they aren’t really making a joke about rape; the joke is purely on Dennis, and Mac’s reaction to it.

There’s nothing offensive about a pie to the face or having an anvil dropped on you.

These Halloween eps. are the only new ones I’ve watched the last few years, and they just don’t do anything for me. Everything feels so under developed and focused on the spoofs rather than using the spoof to tell a story (like “Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace”). And I have never been a fan of the “intro is its own

Ah. Damn this show for making him so popular!

I understand ‘cause plot stuff, but man do I wish Chidi were more involved this season. I’m sure it’ll turn around soon, but it’s not the same with him separated like this.

I was just thinking about that today. I wonder if Disney+ is going to affect that in any way.
