I think that’s the case. HBO Max will have HBO stuff, so I’d assume you can cancel the prime channel.
The thing I don’t get is these pre-taped bits can easily be slotted into another episode should they need it (despite presence of a guest star). Yet, they’ll just put it online instead, then spend money on another filmed piece.

Yes, but the anger isn’t because of the character, it’s because of the fact that Sesame Workshop is partnered with Autism Speaks and recently used the character for some PSAs.

Resident Sesame expert here: whatever keeps Sesame funded for a few more years is fine by me. And all the stuff will be availible free to PBS again, so it’s still a win-win.
