As a college student I wouldn’t want to spend over 10k on something. Well, I want to but it’s probably a mistake when I could get a cheap Japanese car that would last me a long time with basic maintenance. My new Golf and all it’s issues despite it’s 114k miles is proving even at 5k I probably made a mistake.

I have loyalty to Nissan, but not so much “new” Nissan. All their new stuff minus the GTR is pretty blah and even then it’s not nearly as nice to me as the earlier Skylines. Though for whatever reason I am drawn to the Juke despite its ugliness and bad visibility.

I compare my old 89 240sx coupe to just about everything. I’ve been to every car dealer in multiple states(I’ve moved around a lot) and numerous carmax lots. I wouldn’t be surprised if these lots had a picture of me with a “Do not sell talk to this guy” sign with how often I showed up.
