Won’t happen. The whole idea of the vaulting was keeping D2 manageable for the years to come.

This is design hubris.

On CNBC, venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, who just flipped shares at a $500,000 profit (which he claims to have donated to the Barstool Fund)

Honestly, the Switch version looks a lot better than I thought it would, especially after the first couple paragraphs of this article.

Yeah, the Switch version looks good enough. The next gen ones look better, if I squint and play ‘spot the difference’ for a few minutes. If this is what next gen console prices are buying us, I’ll be glad to save my money for a while.

Not everyone has the kind of internet that Stadia needs to run at 4k either, but I don’t see you commenting on that part. Stadia would chew through my data cap. I’d rather just own the game. Console version is going to be fine enough if you don’t have the PC for it, I’m sure.

Game’s been F2P for a year, with all Y1 campaigns free. If “some people” haven’t played it by now, I think Bungie’s safe in assuming they weren’t going to anyway.

Because the MCC isn’t an MMO, and Destiny 2 is not as neatly sectioned off as other MMO’s. Strike matchmaking would need to take into account whether or not you can be matched into Forsaken Strikes and/or Shadowkeep Strikes and/or Beyond Light Strikes and/or Warmind Strikes and/or Curse of Osiris Strikes, for example.
