I found there really wasn't a lot of driving in game, not as much as I expected at least. Driving from one end of the map to another took very little time, and there was few missions that actually involved the driving.
Can't see this being true, no matter what happened with RAGE, everyone knows Doom 4 will sell like crazy.
Like I added to my post after, iphone was hardly the first touchscreen phone. Look up the IBM Simon. Black, touch screen, one physical button the front, but from 1992. HTC had touchscreen phones in the early 2000s with few physical buttons even.

If you look up the original Android announcement, I'm almost positive you'll find they mentioned it would also be for touch screen only phones.
