Holy shit, I totally missed that. That's gonna be a much harder row to hoe.

The thing I think Orville has going for it is that MacFarlane really does love Star Trek and this seems like a passion project for him - one or two sparks from the ensemble and I think it could be a funny half hour each week with a neat Trek vibe. A lot will certainly depend on one's view of MacFarlane's manner,

What in blue hell is citrus salt?

I thought The Orville and LA to Vegas looked good enough to take a chance on. Ghosted has a cast I really like, but the trailer didn't grab me.

"Well. Bye."

This fall: one man will do whatever it takes to protect his turf!

For some reason the scene of Ash trying to stuff a magazine down Ripley's throat just makes me nauseous and terrified every single time. It really gets to me.

Exactly what I'm hoping for. I'd like to get a little Mission: Impossible groove back into the show, like when *sob* Bobbi and Hunter were still with us.

Well, I for one applaud getting Kyra Sedgwick back on my TV screen, so good job there ABC.

Oooh, someone called in the BURN unit!

It's the League of Extraordinarily Anachronistic Gentlebeings!

That's it exactly - Tom sounds less like a full-of-himself-know-nothing and more like some rando schlub.

Ugh - that's rotten.

Whoa - I haven't watched any of the new episodes, but if that's what Tom Servo's voice is now, I'm not sure I can handle it. I FEAR CHANGE.

As long as they keep buying seasons of Killjoys from up north and producing The Expanse, they can do whatever they hell they want to as far as I'm concerned.

Totally agree; to me, watching people who excel at their craft is always compelling no matter what the field, and due to the enormity of his output, Scott is no more invulnerable to the law of averages than the rest of us. He's made more than enough classics to warrant a pass from me.

You're not nuts at all. He just loves to make goddamn movies, and he's pretty good at it more often than not.

""You want to question the timing of when the President fires, when he hires. It's inappropriate," said Conway Wednesday."

*sigh* Yeah, that was… unfortunate. I choose to believe the inclusion of Armand Assante and Diane Lane and Joan Chen balances the scales, though.
