I literally have nothing left to say, snarky, angry, or otherwise about everyone passing this year - famous or not - except to wish that those personally affected by anyone's death find solace and comfort somewhere.

I maintain that Williams' best work is still the entirety of the Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack and the main theme to Superman. Not that his other stuff isn't iconic and great, but the Raiders album really is a "movie" all on its own, and the Supes theme manages to capture everything about the character in less…
Listen, 2016, I don't know if this is just a "passion project" for you or something, but this year-long live-action revival of "And Then There Were None" with an all-star cast is WAY FUCKING WORSE than the BBC adaptation.
I totally get why it's popular (good graphics, open world, complex characters, better than average writing for an RPG), but I still don't like it - and Lord knows I've tried.
Ha! Yeah, you're right about the voice acting, for sure. While the script (and general plot) are nothing to write home about, I do like the fact that the individual levels have their own mini-stories that are doled out bit by bit, depending on when and where you overhear certain conversations.
I really, really hope this is because someone at Legendary saw BR 2049 and it was great.
Absolutely agree on DOOM and Hitman. The former was a blast of simple, fast shooting, complete with the 90's mainstay of "here's a room with a crap ton of ammo, because the next room is gonna be murder". A lot of people call it "classic DOOM as you remember it, not as it was", and I tend to agree.
Interesting choices here. Once again I'll lament the fact that Games-wise, XCOM2 didn't make the top 10, and I'm surprised to see Uncharted 4 place as high as it did. I'd probably call DOOM my game of the year, all things considered (although I did play a crapload of Overwatch, and had it come out earlier in the year…
Aw, no Cars? Ric Ocasek is practically the entire reason to HAVE a R&R HOF.
You know, generally I try to take the long view about contemporary issues, but damn if 2016 hasn't shaken me. I keep up a relatively positive attitude with my family, telling my wife and kids that we'll get through this, and trying to impress upon them that they need to be a part of the solution, to not live in fear…
You, sir, are quite correct.
Ever since they stopped showing Three's Company, TV Land has been dead to me.
2016 killed David Motherfucking Bowie as its opening act. I am legitimately terrified as to what it's got in store for the closer.
I'm selling these fine leather jackets.
Holy shit, I feel like I could sit and listen to Linden reminisce for another three hours. He sounds like he has stories about the stories, and comes off as likeable and down to earth as Capt. Miller. I feel like a broken record here, but another home run for RR and Will!
Huzzah!
Totally worth it if you can make it to a show. Particularly excited for this tour and some of the deeper cuts, they seem really energized when they get to bring out some of the less well-known (to most) songs.
Aw, no Arizona shows?
Wait, so you're saying there's a chance I might get to see Rogue One WITHOUT sitting next to virulently stupid hatemongers?
My two favorite books this year were ones I've had on the shelf forever, but finally had time to indulge in.
