This is EXACTLY the kind of actor RR should be covering, and kudos for a great interview, Marah.

As with seemingly most of these "favorite" or "best-of" movie-related questions, it's hard to argue with Jaws. Such a striking composition that tells you everything you need to know, and gets at the primal fear of what's hiding in the water.
FWIW, I personally prefer the podcasts that sound a little bit rough around the edges to ones that sound too perfect; makes it feel a little more real and immediate.
Eh, given the (assumedly) low-dollar cast and the fact that parents in the summer will take our kids to goddamn near anything in the theater just to get out of the heat and quiet them down for a couple hours, I could see this turning a profit.

Goddamn it's good to have you back, O'Neal.
This movie gets me right in the gut, every single time. This is a great scene in a movie goddamned full of them; the final scene at the train station is guaranteed waterworks for me. It didn't hurt that I had (and have) a huge crush on Emma Thompson, too. SHE WAS LEAVING ME AT THAT STATION, DAMMIT.
Yes, but which CUT of Blade Runner? WAY TO DROP THE BALL, WIRED.
That's… actually a pretty great costume, lighting notwithstanding. Definitely true-to-comics, and projecting "badass Atlantean warrior queen".
I go back and forth between Wadsworth and Col. Mustard for the most part, but really it's a "pick 'em", as they all have great showcase moments/lines.
Clue is probably my favorite comfort-food movie of all time. It's my go-to choice when I'm sick, or need something on in the background, or just having generally a lousy day. I've watched it literally hundreds of times, and I still laugh. There's no way it should work as well as it does, but the crackerjack timing of…
I adore Weaver, she's a really good actress we don't see enough of these days, and doesn't view genre stuff as ghetto work. This is a genuine coup for the MCU (MTVU?).
I'm a noir freak (obvs), and I don't think the book is very good either, frankly - and pales in comparison to Huston's film. I'd go so far to say that Hammett was at his best in the short story format - pick up The Continental Op or The Big Knockover for his best work (although be warned, endings were not Hammett's…
Their version of "Is There Something I Should Know" is still one of my favorite cover songs ever, and "How'd The Date End" makes me laugh every time.
That's an excellent point.
Yeah, it's nice to see a creator actually walk the walk when it comes to saying things like, "Oh, I'll quit when I'm out of juice," as opposed to just tossing that out and then succumbing to gigantic piles of cash from networks that need established shows. The fact that he's been really open about feeling that way…
Two things I'm really liking about this season (all of two eps in, of course):
The tagline for Daredevil S2 should have been, "You will believe a man can get bored with ninjas."
Well, the math checks out.
