Fair enough I suppose. But if a conservative country in GA doesn’t care, how much of the country actually does anymore? LGBTQ folks absolutely still face systematic oppression and we have a long way to go, but two women kissing just doesn’t seem like a big deal anymore.

I live in GA, Suburbs of Atlanta and gay couples, by and large, are accepted as normal. Not saying they don’t still face bigotry or things are perfect. I am saying for the most part it its considered normal here. Lesbian moms coach kids soccer, gay dads lead scout troops and rarely does anyone give a shit.
