The one Rut built was actually an early steel bedded version of the kit...the tigged all aluminum ones are definitely easier to maintain rust wise.

we are in new england...whether cobras with aluminum/steel or smyth kits...sealer is for just that...re rivets..they work in planes they work in race cars, they work here.

Interior is just stock jetta with a carpeted rear wall. CNC 1/8" aluminum and tig welded inner fenders...stock ford tailgate latches etc...the parts are really nice so I have to ask what you think is shoddy
