I thought Maureen Orth’s book fundamentally misunderstood a lot of things about drugs, closeted gay men, and the party scene. Gary Indiana’s “Three Month Fever”, while more of a non-fiction novel than a journalistic piece, struck a much more believable tone.

From what I can gather, no. Whereas the Property Brothers, goofy though they may be, are outspoken on behalf of gay & trans rights.

Child stars in general don’t age well, do they? Exceptions being Mara Wilson, Jodie Foster, Kurt Russell... I’m sure I’m forgetting a couple but I think my point stands.

With either podcast it definitely helps if you’ve seen the movie in question, but the hosts of We Hate Movies tend to discuss the movie in chronological order, which makes them easier to follow, and they don’t talk over each other as much as the HDGTM crew.

The “We Hate Movies” podcast has an episode about this where they posit that Dermot Mulroney’s character is a serial killer, among other things. It’s hilarious and I recommend it highly.

I legit lol’d at this...

Thank you for demonstrating what a complete ignorance of mental health and addiction looks like with this utterly worthless comment.

Now that was just mean.
You know he doesn’t get invited to parties.

Braison. Huh.

Well, most of the French. Pretty sure Coco Chanel did alright for herself.
