Yeah, But this was still a monumentally stupid move. I mean, Clarkson Did it. We all know that. Most of us are also well acquainted with the fact that he's somewhat of an ass-hat (But an entertaining one at that, and since when did we start demanding that our court jesters also be our role models?)

The rub here is that

Wednesday - "We're gonna solve the big issue people have with electric cars!"
Thursday - "We added a map"

I am disappoint

Steam, like Netflix, is itself a superior alternative to piracy. The only reason I might even consider pirating a movie or game anymore is because they aren't on Netflix/Steam.

Now EA's Origin is a different matter. I bought Mass Effect 3, in CD form, on launch day, but for some reason Origin's DRM wouldn't let me

That's like making "Say Yes To the Dress" about Beer and Monster Trucks

Even at Harvard, if you have time to be throwing tones of parties and writing essay-length responses to whiny sophomores, you need to get a real major.

i like the hood.

"Because we can"

I don't think it counts for furniture against walls/ spaces you obviously don't intend to move through. otherwise you'd have to float everything. that'd be insane.

and I'll bet you it's gonna be $100,000 and just be a white Chevy Malibu with an apple logo hood ornament and an ipad stapled to the dash.

I'm with Musk. Fuel cells are insanely lossy, especially if you're getting the hydrogen with electrolysis. The only advantage you get is the ability to rabidly refuel, but fast charge batteries are a lot closer and a lot more practical than fueling cars with cryogenic liquids.

Any advice that can be countered with: "Well no-shit Sherlock" is probably not going to be very helpful.

Amen

Hasn't Kansas been demonstrating over the last few years that No, drastic tax cuts do not improve economic conditions and thus revenue?

As afar as I know, he's a jerk and a misogynist, but dude still manages to pump out a comic strip every day, so I'll take some productivity tips from him. Broken clock right twice a day and such.

Well the reason I really want a volt instead of a leaf or a bolt is simply that I live in Minnesota, which, last weekend was colder than the equator of Mars. As far as I know the batteries and electric motors of an EV don't throw off enough harvestable waste heat to warm a cabin and electric resistance heaters kill

Agreed. I just want the Voltec drivetrain. I don't need a damn entertainment center.

Yeah. I think Tesla's got the right idea though. If we can get fas charging down to like 1-minute per 10-miles of range on a car with a 200 mile range (Plus universal standardized charging port), that'll be the tipping point for putting up charging posts at gas stations. (I figure they'd be pretty cheap and easy to

Cool. we can add that to the list of healthy things I have no intention of doing.

I've never understood the resistance to electric drive trains among gearheads. I've driven a volt on numerous occasions (Not widely known as a high performance car) and I can tell you, that Flat torque curve you get from an electric motor is amazing. getting up to speed is just effortless, and the acceleration, even

I don't get it. People don't buy $80,000 electric luxury sedans to save money on gas. Low oil prices may impact the leaf or volt, but nobody is buying a Tesla to save money. This may impact the mass-market sedan they want to roll out in a few years but I highly doubt gas will stay cheap that long.
