The reason Boeing is in deep shit is because they were fools to spin off Spirit Aerosystems as its own company. (Spirit Aerosystems makes the Boeing fuselages.) Why was it done? So Boeing would have less assets on the books—tax reasons—pure and simple, not for greater manufacturing efficiency.

$kaycog, where ya at? Your time has returned.

I mean that’s patently wrong and it is completely legal in many states to exceed the speed limit while passing:

Have shopped these quite a bit. The non-R versions seem to go for about tenish for decent drivers (though not as nice as this). Though not a screaming deal, given that is is an “R” and the miles and condition look very good I can give it a nice price.

Ok, but it is a low-mile, not-rusted (read: CLEAN OLD SCHOOL JDM)

As gray and plastic as the dash is, I actually think those big padded cloth seats are the best thing about the car. I miss when even cheap crummy cars like this had soft comfy chairs.

This car is Mamba Green, which was part of the Taycan’s regular color palette for a few years.

The only proper way to acquire this car is from your grandparent’s estate.

That interior is super depressing.  BTW- did all of our avatars get nuked?

Typical reason for this type of car being low mileage and this condition would be like my next door neighbour (who passed away about 5 years ago). She had a mid 90's Toyota Corolla that was driven (at most) once a week to the grocery store (located about 1 km from where we live). Then as her eyesight started going she

Back when I was at MotorTrend, I almost felt bad for the Infiniti PR people every time I posted an update for my QX50 long-termer.

I’ll repeat my one and only Infiniti dealership experience:

I came close to purchasing a 2005 sport and a 2009 6MT later on and always enjoyed the idea of a competent, 6-cylinder

How much R&D went into that ridiculous, pointless VC-T engine (anybody wanna touch one of those w/o a warranty?) that could have gone toward making one halfway desirable vehicle?

Nissan makes the Z, the 15 year old GTR which still has a shit transmission, and a bunch of other rolling trash that people with low credit scores and rental fleets buy. That’s it. That is their entire lineup summed up. Anyone who says differently is getting paid by Nissan and someone needs to nut-up and tell Nissan

Agreed, someone’s gonna part with $24K no sweat. And I hope they correct the footwear on this 5er - those wheels are all wrong, from the shiny finish to the knock-kneed/narrow offset, to the cheesy design.

Winner of the day...

I too would like to live in a world where the trash collector pays me every day to pick up my garbage. But then again, if that were to happen, it would probably also mean living in some sort of Monkey’s Paw universe where I have to pay to go to work. I don’t think I want to be the one who establishes the precedent and
