I just really like that purple, not a purple liking kinda guy but wow.

The side profile of the GT is just fantastic... I dig the modern fastback 4 door GTs for reasons I can’t explain.

Kidney rattling is best, these have been indispensable.

There is a good version available on GOG with all the dosbox wrapping to get it running on a modern machine for like 2-4 bucks if I am not mistaken.

In 2002-2003 I bought a 23' Ford Econoline based C class RV for 5k.
The RV and camper market is just as stupid as the used car market since the pandemic hit. Very profitable to build your own teardrop from a kit at this point, if you can find one?

A vigorous whacking to the starter can sometimes get it going but usually that should be for a trip to a parts place to pick up a new starter. I managed to keep a heap running for 2 weeks longer than it should have using this technique, and it bought me the time to get it replaced.

You’re probably both right, it is entirely forgotten and “meh” but also pretty unique as a FWD minivan like crossover before those were everywhere. The leg room in the back seats is limo-like, the thing is bigger than it lets on.

I don’t think I’ve seen one this clean in.. a long time, at least in the wild. At 3k I almost wish I needed a spare runner.

Fiancee’s Pontiac Torrent that she got from her Gramps when he gave up driving has a tow hitch and will pull something like 3k lbs! We mostly use it for bikes as of now and will get an RV for camping, but it is nice to have in a pinch.

We did this back in the first Gears of War days, usually with dry erase marker or like a tiny chip of paper ripped off the corner of whatever was lying around, lick it and stick it.

I grew up in a fairly affluent suburb on the West side of Denver, I distinctly remember the student lot having consistently much nicer, newer, and often luxury brand cars all day, every day. I remember hearing of a kid at a rival high school drove an H1 on days Dad let him, other days was a Corvette or something

“I am going to buy a reliable used German luxury performance sedan, and I am going to work on it myself”

I would add to the sentiment of “don’t look up the video”.

That is something I want to attempt to drive, a clutch paddle shift monster.

As someone who around here would be considered “a bit more into dressing proper”, I can’t diss a man for having a favorite and sticking with it so long as it is still in good shape.
Hell, I can’t fault anyone for trying to dress up or look nice no matter how bad they fail in the eyes of others.
Never give a crap about

These days I always try to sneak in a stop or two to fly a drone to get some pics or video.

The cycle of writers continues. Best of luck man.

As I am now learning, BMWs love ignition coils, and the first one that goes will throw you for a loop based on how it behaves when it detects the misfire.
You are doing it the fun way as well, brofist from this side!

If you are working on a German thing, it behooves you to know what the hell is wrong with the German thing before you spend more money on it.
Get a good reader, under 200 for a BMW specific one that does it all and then some.

Funny you should ask, I was doing the oil today up at my folks’ place and showing Dad the tool, and it had an immo and key tab for programming. Looked like duping and fixing from my non experience with it, you would have to refer to the Foxwell site to get deeper.
But it had the tab!
