I just sat in one and I already needed tissues. The dealership wasn't happy.
Mmm listen to the turbo on that STi scream!
Nope, he lived to tell the tale. Mind you, he was a kitten when I was an infant, so at the time of the move he was about 18 years old. He spent many years hunting in Colorado, controlling the rabbit population on our property, and leaving organs behind the sofa. He was a real survivor. My uncle, as mentioned in the…
Good idea. I drove my Outback SUS to Nebraska two summers ago, and luckily it can barely get 400 miles to a tank of gas, so we always were able to stop before the need to relieve ourselves got too serious. My Legacy GT can barely get 300 miles to a tank, so that should be even easier.
That's hilarious. It's experiences like this that you don't ever forget.
In December of 2006, my family and I moved from Santa Barbara, CA, to Loveland, CO, a 1100 mile trip. We had a caravan of three cars, our 2000 Suburban 2500 with a 3-horse steel horse trailer loaded with stuff, my 1996 Legacy GT, and our 2002 Saturn L200. Those who live in Colorado will remember the two huge blizzards…
Included, but not guaranteed to prevent fiery death.
it looks like the engine is not transversely mounted, so it would have a transaxle just like any other Ferrari that would have equal length half shafts. No torque steer.
How Can a Saturn Ion be rusty? The things are made of plastic made from melted-down fisher price toys.
How many Miles does it take to wreck a Miura?
Brian's cars are pretty cool.
Congrats DoubleOh187! Also, Raphael, A truer COTD preface there never will be. Cars are meant to be driven, not abandoned or locked up!
That was a great read. I really wish this kind of training was required for obtaining a driver's license. I know that when I got my motorcycle endorsement, we learned cornering as "outside, inside, outside." It helps that a bike can do this within a single lane, but it sure wouldn't hurt drivers to understand the…
This thing. I mean, c'mon: terrible mileage, only room for two passengers, and it just has so much excess. Plus, the Volt is outselling it. Obviously America has spoken, and America says "we don't need you anymore, Corvette."
Isn't the Tribute a rebadged Ford Escape? The plot thickens...
<3 SVX. I hope it wins.
Like a boss.
Neither does the Mustang. I have no doubt that both can achieve a mixed mpg rating of 30 when driven conservatively. So can the Corvette. I also don't see "EPA estimated" anywhere in the article.
BRZ.
