I have #5, right down to the turbo, stick and color (deep plum pearl) and you are SO right.

No.
Oh, and NO.

Methinks this would fly pretty safely on Kotaku tagged #fallout.
:)

Kinda surprised that this didn’t make NPOCP!
I had one of these and loved it, for a whole host of reasons... and yeah - the top of the dash was so big you could serve dinner for 4 on it.

Web guy here. Sorry just doesn’t cut it with them anymore. This is NOT the first time they’ve had a major breach... and during one of the prior ones, which had tens of thousands of sites hacked, they denied any responsibility for it - for quite a while.
Friends don’t let friends use GD.

Not sure about this one. from the NYS DMV site:

One of the things I LOVE about that whole era of sci-fi filmmaking is the repurposing of items to make props. When they made Alien, among other things, they went to an airplane junkyard, bought tons of items, stripped off the parts they wanted and sold the remaining metal off for scrap.
Same goes for Blade Runner -

Free truck wash.

Scion xB. For 4500, you can find a 1st gen one in great shape with (reasonably) low miles... they are a blast to drive with a boatload of space. Just have to find one that is well-maintained. Mine has 210k on it, is beaten pretty badly and still runs like an absolute champ.

I LOVE both... but holy shit does 2049 need to be edited. There’s like 30 minutes of it that could get lost, and it wouldn’t hurt it one damn bit.

Yeah... no. I write in complete sentences.
Plus... the period signifies that you are finished with your thought...
just as ellipses mean that I’m not done yet.
I’m honestly kinda dumbstruck that anyone is advocating for this - or that there’s an article on it at all.

I had a huge grin on my face the whole time. You were just a big overjoyed kid. Thanks for a bright spot in the day.

Coming back to past landlords who you’ve befriended and used, and asking them to borrow money is grifting. Putting your horse’s medical bills on your landlords account is grifting.
Just read the quotes from multiple, multiple individuals in the Politico article - forget the editorializing therein.  This person was a

This is one of the greatest reviews I’ve ever read. I was laughing so hard I nearly cried.
The headline and filed to: are just icing on an amazing cake.
Kudos. :)

Completely unrelated...
I had the 2-door version of that featured-image VW, and it kicked ASS big time.. fast as all get out, it was a blast and a half to drive. An automatic trans, but some mysterious switch under the accelerator pedal - if you floored it, it kicked back a gear, and the thing just FLEW.
I LOVED it..
Unti

Followed the instructions in the article, and it worked perfectly.

They added the narration specifically because test audiences didn’t understand what was going on.
Harrison hated doing it... (he actually read it badly on purpose, hoping that they wouldn’t use it)... Ridley hated adding it... but the studio insisted.
All that having been said... (and it’s an INCREDIBLY worn-out topic

Stanton Glantz is a hack of the first order. He’s been countered on his “studies” dozens of times. Here’s just one REALLY well documented counter:

But he DID win a Helen Keller Achievement Award for his portrayal of a blind man.

The prison scene!!!! 11 minutes long - in a single take.
