That was part of Terry’s plan. He swore everyone involved to secrecy until the time was right, so that’s why Holt didn’t know. Sure, it’s against the rules, but anything for the Heist!

Plus all the times someone yells “NOOOO--” in the cold open and gets cut off by the title sequence.
So are we ever getting a review of “The Bimbo”?
Do you mean Tina?
Interesting that Tina likes a body part besides butts.
Got a song for you. “Yachting Type”, by late 70s British new wave/power pop band Yachts, is about the singer losing his girlfriend to a yachtie.
1. Only a C+, La Toya? I’d be hard pressed to give this episode anything lower than a B-. It proves that even a Brooklyn Nine-Nine that doesn’t rank with the series’ best is still pretty damn funny.
2. Joel McKinnon Miller has had little or no dialogue in the last couple of episodes. Is something going on with his…
Not to me. I think it’s more likely that both shows just used the same pun at around the same time.
Bob’s Burgers and LoT are both referencing the same person: Helen Hunt.
Better late than never, Coolman! Thanks for the response. I wonder what Corey Burton’s Liquidator would sound like.
Finally we have a bad alien. Not just one that is mis-understood, but one that is willfully and unquestionably dangerous.
Have we forgotten “Tim Shaw” and the Stenza already?
My take is that since Doctor Who is a family show, they didn’t want to dwell on the brutality of the violence too much. I noticed that they only mentioned the burning of witches once, and that was after Becka had been possessed by the Morax queen; blowing up an evil alien is a fantasy situation, unlike setting an…
One TV Tropes contributor speculates that Scrooge is trying to cut back on his spending because of his bet with Glomgold.
One thing I love about the writers of Bob’s Burgers: the worse a pun is, the more they love it.
Good episode, but with a missed opportunity IMHO. What if, when the diner dasher came back, Bob just stood in front of the door so that he couldn’t run away? BTW, I can see that ending with the dasher talking Bob into moving, just for a moment.
Really? Why? Is this your decision, or the powers (ha!) that be at AV Club? It’s bad enough we got only two reviews for this year’s entire season of Elementary. Do better, AVC!
Anyway, a great start to the second year of Black Lightning. I’m surprised that no one has mentioned the Green Light victim not only getting…
I’m really hoping that Genevieive returns next week to do a Season 6 overview. Notice to AV Club: Some of us are still paying attention to this show, and this page.
Why doesn’t this one get a sequel or remake?
If they are, then I’m all for it, and I’m sure many other fans would be too.
