Any idea how long the electric only range is at 70 mph?

It needs fast charging capability. with that small a battery you should easily get an 80% charge in 10-15 minutes or less at trail charging stations

The Lamborghini Countach in Cannonball Run. My father was sort of a car guy, but was into that over-processed garage queen street rod nonsense that seemed especially popular in the early ‘80s. I didn’t like him and I didn’t care much for those cars (at least the undriven World of Wheels types), but then I saw that

It could be this. Because they’re thirsty in Atlanta, and there’s beer in Texarkana.

I have loved cars forever. I can’t remember a car I didn’t love. I do remember watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when I was tiny too. So, maybe this one?

Two dollars!

Could it be anything else..?

I’ll stand up and admit the impact of The Fast and The Furious. For me it was the Eclipse from the first movie. Yep, the green eclipse, not the Supra.

Just two good ol’ boys, Never meaning no harm
Beats all you never saw, Been in trouble with the law
Since the day they were born

The M4S Interceptor from The Wraith.

I disagree eliminating the credit system would “help the environment”, all that would replace it is a fine system (as previously existed) and that does nothing to help promote alternative vehicles, as the revenue from fines would typically go into the general fund and disappear to other usages. There is no political

$7000 or $7500 out of a $40,000 car is a nice chunk of change. Even for the more expensive ones it’s a nice chunk of change. Without it, an EV may be far less appealing or affordable. Is the tax credit going to be the sole reason to buy an EV? Probably not, but it’s a fairly important consideration, especially for

Yup and the Personal Responsibility Boot Strap crowd will crow about “well just don’t take out one of those loans” while utterly failing to recognize (or at least admit) that there’s no other way to get to all two or three jobs that don’t pay living wages on their own (because they don’t want their taxes raised to

Another example of how much it costs to be poor. A high interest loan on a car that doesn’t work. Likely because maintenance was deferred because of paying rent or putting food on the table, if they had one. And now the person has to roll that negative equity over in a cycle that they are not very likely to break.

Right?
The only thing that would’ve made this video better would’ve been him reaching into a pocket with his off hand, finding a lighter, and casually, tossing it lit into the van as it pulled away.
Though, now that I write that, I’m appalled at my eliding of action movies and reality.
I want to make it clear I am so NOT

“i’m goin to heaven... but it’s about to get hot for a minute.”

anyone got a light?
