This administration literally sent a proposal to congress a few weeks ago asking for an extension of EV tax credits for “American made” EVs.

And yet the US government bailed out GM. What a joke.

The Howler had a truck booty and a V8!

Prowler should have had Viper engine and side pipes.

It’s not nice to laugh at sheltered people.

Stylistically, I love it, but that engine is not right for the car. I would probably electrify one as a fun project.

I have to wonder if he’s specifically talking about very recent times. Just off the top of my head there’s the Corvair, the Pinto, the Explorer, the Bronco II, GMs ignition switches, the Jeep gear selector issues and wouldn’t want to leave out exploding airbags although that’s not necessarily the automaker’s fault.

That looks like a shaved Torch

Great super specific example. You win. There are no other instances of automakers knowingly killing people and keeping it under wraps or trying to deflect blame.

Egypt has impounded the boat so they get the five RTX 3090s onboard to sell on eBay. Street value exceeds the $1 billion they want.

That is a joke, right?  You can’t be that utterly clueless about the history of the major car companies regarding design flaws causing serious safety hazards and they’re colossal efforts to avoid responsibility and delay corrective action.

It’s certainly taking on (or has already taken on) “politics” vibes and I don’t like it.

“Most of the auto giants act with some amount of integrity”

My takeaway is people will do anything to blame Tesla

In a residential area no less. I don’t know why we keep seeing stories about this with no satellite views of the crash area. It paints a much different picture.

If I was them, so would I. And so would any of us.

First off, who activates autopilot in a residential neighborhood? Secondly, what autopilot would allow the car to accelerate to a degree that it would crash in a fiery disaster with no one in the driver seat?

I have to agree with Tesla at this point. In fact I’m going to say that there was a driver who drove like a mani

From other pictures - the car centerpunch the tree hard enough to split the car back behind the A-pillars.

I’ll meet to half way at wrong engine but the Prowler is fucking cool.
