If I were cops in a podunk town of 3000 with a police force of less than ten and only a half hours drive from Norfolk I would be careful fucking with military personnel. You really don’t want to be patrolling on dark roads in the middle of the night after you off pissed off guys who have access to fully automatic

I would rather use a taxi for a bit more money and bit more regulations and accountability.

Not to go off on a tangent, but can we stop using the term “ridesharing”? That isn’t what Uber or Lyft are. It is a marketing term they use to try and make it not sound like what they are, taxi services circumventing taxi regulations.

This is the issue with the “sharing” economy, in that it lowers the cost for some which means that it increases the cost for everyone else. I’m a guy. A reasonably in-shape guy. I’ve never felt uncomfortable in a ride-share, or meeting up with someone to rent borrow their car via Turro, or sleeping in a stranger’s

The concern for my safety is why I will never ever use a riding sharing program. I don’t want to be in a stranger’s car and not have to be concerned for my life every time, which would be exhausting. I rather walk or bike to place if my car broke down than use an Uber of Lyft.

That article last year about BMW not only doing exactly that, but locking the features down to only the current owner filled you with unending joy, no doubt.

Aaaaah.

It’s just some Tesla Model 3s driving slowly in a tube, and if that gets you excited”

If you have poor credit, you almost certainly don’t have the cash on-hand to pay for a car all at once, which leaves out private buyers.

Much easier said than done for a lot of people.

You know, my Wife actually brought that up. She said he probably thought I was some dummy off of the street. I can see someone who has zero experience buying a car falling for that.

He had the wrong paperwork.

Being poor and having less-than-stellar credit is one of the most expensive things out there right now. You’ll pay more for everything, literally, than someone with more money, better credit, or both.

If you’re in this siuation, you more than likely won’t have a lump sum to plop down on a private sale, and 99% of private sellers aren’t going to take payments. So, what’s left? A dealership. Vicious cycle.

I bought a new VW Tiguan in the fall of 2018. I used my company discount which was invoice -$1,000 plus all dealer incentives. No haggling. I go to the finance office and the guy says, “okay, we got you approved at 21.9%!” I pulled a WHATCHU TALKIN BOUT WILLIS and the guy looks at me like I had two heads. He had the

To be fair, many rocket launch sites have very little perimeter security as the sites are far too large to make Fort Knox levels of security cost effective.

Cape Canaveral has chain link fences, if that, since the whole area is largely a wildlife refuge. Of course the security is tighter around the actual launch

One of the main reasons that people are excited about Starship is that it’s NOT a multi-billion-dollar rocket. These prototypes are being made for extremely small amounts of money compared to anything similar in the aerospace industry. They haven’t published official prices, but estimates are that each ship is in the

In the US, approximately 17 gas cars catch on fire every hour. The majority of them aren’t even related to collisions!

Somehow all of these issues have made me trust Tesla more with EVs, as at least by now they have lots of experience in making and diagnosing them.

Lots of cars occasionally combust, you just dont hear about it because they aren’t Teslas. Just like you dont hear about panel gap issues and constant recall notices of cars that aren’t Teslas. Because when a Tesla fucks up, its news, when another car manufacturer does, no one really cares.
