Every time I ask I mechanic about Subaru they say the same thing, owner neglect. Just because the cars are advertised as "tough" owner abuse them. That's the problem with most used Subarus, they aren't properly maintained or cared for.

Umm...so i own two WRXs, and i'm not sure where this "unreliable" thing is coming from. Regular maintenance, oil changes, the occasional CV boot...otherwise they've treated me well.
Such raw, barely constrained fury. It's like the engine and the rest of the drivetrain are trying to claw their way out of the chassis, and just happen to be dragging it along for the ride because they can't break free.
