I love 'Home Alone' unabashedly. That scene where he enters the church while the choir sings "O Holy Night" is sort of beautiful and haunting. And then he burns Joe Pesci's hand with a doorknob and drives a nail through Daniel Stern's foot. Equally haunting.

That poor, homeless woman. She saves this kid's life and her reward is a fucking turtle dove because "friendship is great" or something. Given the room service rampage he went on with his dad's credit card, the least he could do is give her a meal. Or a Christmas tree ornament which she can place on her…um…well not

Saw headline, eagerly clicked so I could make joke about how the show should be titled 'Cold Dead Hands,' saw that show was actually, really, seriously going to be titled 'Cold Dead Hands.' Well played, Sundance Channel, well played.

That'll get the kids to tune in.

The other night, I had a dream that I was in the trailer for 'Jurassic World.'

Eating Cheerios makes me feel like the adult that I'm ostensibly supposed to be. Carry on.

I am so confused right now. I thought we were talking about The A.V. Club's redesign. Are you insinuating that the humans reading A.V. Club should start a mass revolt, perhaps while wearing some kind of mask, and destroy the A.V. Club because the redesign can be slightly confusing from time to time? On the plus

I don't think anybody ironically or otherwise appreciates him as a human being.

Buzzfeed really got to the bottom of this thing.

Or he could go on making great, normal movies.

Peter Jackson has been giving Zack Snyder tips on how to slowly sap America's patience.

Stay far, far away from this shit show, Joaquin.

Why are you reading reviews if you are afraid of innocuous spoilers such as the one posted here? Rotten Tomatoes will happily give you a little one sentence recap of every review. As for this review, you know movie film got an A. Beyond that, reader beware.

Forget 'Reflektor'? I am way ahead of you. I did that a week after it came out. **drops mic, exits to roaring applause**

I stay more or less up to date on which movies are coming into existence, but every now and then, some site will post a trailer and I'll be like, "Wait, ____'s coming out? Since when?" That be the case here. Enjoyed the first one, probably should have known Franchisement was on the way, was surprised to see trailer

Was going to give you an upvote, because post gave me slight smile, but then saw the hashtags. Sorry, can't reward hashtags. You had it. You really did. I apologize. May this be a lesson for the future.

Just in time for sweeps…

I don't really see how Carrie Underwood is going to do this one live.

I thought it was an Acknowledged Fact that 'Rushmore' is Anderson's best movie.

Everybody has a different definition for the word "Best." So subjective. For what it's worth, this wasn't a particularly fun year for movies IMO.
