You are right! The turn signal switch has to be the most complex thing in the world considering how many people don't understand it.

A few years ago I was travelling with the Deutsche Bahn. It was New Year's Day and the train was quite crowded. It was not a fancy ICE but an old Regional Express Train and it broke down in the middle of nowhere. We were stuck so long that the toilets were overflowing... Happy new Year everyone!
